Size Matters - Small Penis

According to new research, size matters.   Men everywhere worry that their penis is smaller than it should be or that it won't satisfy a lover. But research suggests that most men underestimate the size of their pride and joy.

Man has always placed great importance on the size of his penis. Many cultures associate penis size with masculinity. Throughout the ages, it has come to symbolise qualities such as virility, fertility, strength, ability and courage.

Men may be surprised to learn that penis length isn't measured on the erect penis. Instead, the most reliable penis measurement is called SPL -- stretched penis length. The longer a man's SPL, the longer his erect penis length, according to studies done on brave young men who volunteered to have erection-stimulating penis injections.

To learn your SPL, measure the penis while it's flaccid. Press the ruler tight against the pubic bone at the base of the penis. Don't just measure from where the penis separates from the scrotum, or you'll lose precious centimeters. Now gently, but very firmly, stretch the penis as far as it will go. Measure from the pubic bone to the tip of the stretched penis.

Did you get five and a quarter inches? If so, you are exactly normal. Most adult men are within about a half inch of 5.24 inches, according to statistics Palmer has compiled. Nearly all studies of penis length come up with a similar measure.

Smoking can shorten your penis by as much as a centimeter. Erections are all about good bloodflow, and lighting up calcifies blood vessels, stifling erectile circulation. You need to have erections regularly to keep your penis in shape. "It has to be essentially exercised," says Tobias Kohler, MD, assistant professor of urology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
To maintain a healthy tone, the smooth muscle of the penis must be periodically enriched with oxygen by the rush of blood that engorges the penis and makes it erect, Kohler says.

How to keep your penis in top condition?
1.    Maintain your healthy weight
2.    Eat Smart
3.    Minimise Stress
4.    Eliminate Tobacco
5.    Consume Alcohol in moderation
6.    Sleep Well
7.    Stay Sexual Active
8.    Exercise Regularly
10.   Maintain Positive thinking

About Prostate And Man

The prostate is a small, but important gland (organ) in the male reproductive system, it can says that only found in man. It is located in the pelvis, between the penis and bladder. It sits underneath the bladder and surrounds the top part of the urethra. Urine passes through the urethra on its way from the bladder to the penis.

The main role of the prostate is to make fluid that protects and feeds sperm. The prostate produces a thick, white fluid that's made into a thinner liquid by a protein called prostate-specific antigen (PSA). The liquid is then mixed with sperm, produced by the testicles, to create semen.

A healthy young man prostate is classically said to be slightly larger than a walnut, it gets bigger as a man get older. If the prostate becomes enlarged, it can place pressure on the bladder and urethra (the tube through which urine passes). This can affect how you pass urine and may cause:

  • difficulty starting urination
  • a frequent need to urinate
  • difficulty fully emptying the bladder

It's particularly common in men over 50 years of age and isn't usually a serious threat to health. In some men, the symptoms are mild and don't require treatment. In others, the symptoms can be very troublesome and have a major impact on a person's quality of life.

In the later stages, benign prostate enlargement (Also Known as benign prostatic hyperplasia, BPH) can cause urine retention and other complications such as prostatitis, bladder stones, bladder infections and kidney damage. If the prostate grows too large, the risk of developing Prostate cancer may increase as the uncontrolled spread (or malignant growth) of abnormal cells of the prostate.

To prevent prostate problems, you should
  • Lowering cholesterol
  • Lowering blood pressure
  • Weight control

  • and wearing the right briefing underpants
